A simple synopsis of the Gospel; The Good News; The Best News Ever

All of us have sin. Sin separates us from God; He can’t even look upon it. The wage of sin is death; here meaning eternal death and separation from God, or quite frankly, Hell. If wages are owed, it is demanded that they are paid by whoever may owe them. God, who is perfect, must pay the wage that He owes us; anything else would be unjust; God is just. He does not want to pay to us this wage that He owes us. Therefore Jesus, who is indeed God, became a man and lived a perfect life, thus having no sin of his own to earn the wage of this death. When He went to the cross, he took the sins of the world upon Himself and received the wage that was owed to each of us for our sin. He fully received that brutal wage upon Himself, on our behalf so we wouldn’t have to. This is God’s greatest gift to each of us. There is only one thing that you need to do in order to receive this irrevocable gift of everlasting life that He has provided for us in full, through His death on the cross, and His burial and resurrection. That one thing is to trust Him alone as Savior; to take Him at His word and believe that He did what He did for you, and finished the job of dealing with your sin once and for all, with no help from you, whatsoever. Salvation does not come through any special prayer, nor any church ritual, but truly by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, once and for all with absolutely no strings attached and no fine print, at the moment you believe on Him. He saves you and forever keeps you saved by Himself.

Make the choice to take Him at His word today. This very moment can be your moment of eternal salvation.

God bless you.
